Admissions for 2010-11 academic year start from 15th February, 2010 onwards. Parents, who wish to apply for admission should obtain an application form and prospectus on payment of Rs. 100/-.
Events/Activities
 

Events and Activities are regularly planned and carried out each month. Our activities include celebration of National Festivals, Activity Show by tiny tots popularly known as Activity Show, literary competitions. Quiz, debate, education, essay writing etc., Sports competitions like – Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Kho-kho, Kabbadi, throwball, long jump, shotput, etc., other competitions like – cooking, rangoli, art and craft, art and sketch, singing, dancing, acting (dramas) etc., other regular events are field trips to places of educational interests – Botanical gardens, parks, zoo, museum, library, post-office, railway station, bank, hospitals, etc.,.

The school celebrated the 44th Annual Sports Day on 08th of February 2008 at .............................. . The function was inaugurated by .....................Other dignitaries include............ . The function was witnessed by over 8000 audience which include parents accompanied by their relatives, school students and other guests. There were a total of 18 items displayed by nearly 1500 students who participated in various programmes like Folk dance, Bhangda, Hindi Film dance, Jungle dance, Army Displays, some beautiful and colourful programmes by Kindergarten school children and various other Exercise displays, like Dumb bells, Flower dance, Balloon dance, etc,.


 
44th ANNUAL SPORT'S DAY FROLIC

Respected presidents of today's function Shri. N. Narsinha Reddy, M.L.A, Venerated Chief Guest Shri C.P.Rao, I.P.S, Valued Guest of Honour, Adored patrons and dignitaries, Dear Parents, Modest Staff and charming children.

Its my honour to present before you with prestige and pleasure, a glimpse of our school.

Martinet High school was established in June 1964 with a puny strength of 34 students and with classess L.K.G , U.K.G and 1st by late Hazrath Syed Moosa Kaleem. He was the embodiment of benevolence, endurance, perseverance and aplomb. Discipline, Education and Conduct are the foundational principles of the school, laid down by him.

Upgraded into Middle School in 1970 and High School in 1979,it has sent 26 batches of S.S.C students so far. The results of SSC are between 85% and 93% every Year. 24 students of 2007 batch got above 500 marks, the highest being 553.

NCC has been introduced since June, 2004. So far two batches of 100 cadets each have completed the NCC and were awarded certificates. You have just now seen the cadets' parade of the third batch. We thank Col. S.K. Chand for his selfless duty. His sincerety and oneness of purpose elevated him Lt.Col. to Colonel recently.

Scouts and Guides training has also been ushered in, Students partake in Inter-School sports and literary competition. In the recently conducted independence cup Cricket Tournament, our team reached semifinals, An important addition to our sports activities is the launching of Basket Ball trainning Mr. Sachin, state Basket Ball player is our couch. This year our Basket ball Team participated in 3 inter-school tournements. Mr. Sachin hopes thatour Basket ball team will bring us laurels next year. Our kabbaddi team is ready to take part in Inter-School tourney organised by Sri Raghevendra sports club, Hyderabad. Our Team had wo this championship last year. MFEE, that is Mallinath International Foundation of Earth and Environment, Conducted national level G.K. Test in which our school students Miss. Swathi Won GoldMedal and Teacher Miss. Sujatha, Silver Medal for preparing the students for the tests, in the year 2006.

In the Inter-school Essay Writing contest regulated in Dec' 07 by the City Centeral Library, Master Navketan of X-A secured the first prize. In the Greeta Recitation event by T.T.D., our students Ch. Harini of VI-B, Naga mahendra of VIII-C and V. Srikanth of IX-B stood 1st and 2nd about 2000 partcipants. Our students are also preparing for the Essay Writing and Elocution Competitions being organized by Markazi Anjuman, E.Mhadavia, Hyd, in celebration of the birth annivarsary of Prophet Mohammed.

In the SIASAT Urdu Daily's Talent Search Test, Miss. Shagfla of X-C D/o. Mr. M.A. Hameed is ranked 5th out of about 4000 participants in Hyderabad. Dist, and 14th Rank through out A.P. Where about 12000 students participated.

An Auditorium, 3 Small Playfrounds and Cellar are provided for indoor games and other educational pursuits. We have launched our school website, www.martinetschool.com this year. Thus we are accessible through Internet.

The co-operation and best wishes of our parents enable us to celebrate FROLIC on this grand scale. We aspire to append more expertise and amenities for our students.

We are providential to have a galaxy of distinguished personalities in whose company we are recording our memorable moments in the golden history of our school.

Heartfrlt, enthusiastic and friendly thanks to the whole gathering with a prayer that Almighty fulful all our righteous and rightful desires.
